There’s a poem called “Excuses” which is very well-known in some circles. The last line of the poem is “…Those who specialize in their usage, seldom amount to anything.” Now one might think that’s a bit harsh, but the reality is, you have to draw the line and decide whether you want results or excuses. Success is a journey that will have ups and downs and we must learn from both. If our downs are not used to learn, but are simply masked with excuses, we’ll never reach our intended destination.
